Shattered Stars is a fan made game being one of the mods for the award-winning PC game FreeSpace 2 that not only provides an epilogue for the FreeSpace saga, but also links the UGSF and the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series together. It combines StarBlade with Galaga, Bosconian, Star Luster, Star Ixiom, Descent and FreeSpace, while uses the same setting as the 2018 Mortal Engines film.
The demo of the first installment, Shattered Stars: A Deepness Within, will be released 14 December 2018.

Hundreds of years after the events of FreeSpace 2, a mysterious race, the Shivans, having banished from the Great Council formed by Brahma in the First Time, emerges as the only one who can stop the UIMS, Battura, Sadeen, and Bosconians.
